 October is breast cancer awareness month. Starting October 3, you can go into the Canadian Tire Pit Stop location at 1050 Lansdowne Street location (just west of the Parkway) in Peterborough and purchase “Pink caps”. These are the valve covers that you have to screw off when putting air in your vehicle tires. Each set of 4 sells for $ 2.00 + you get a $5.00 off card for your next oil change at the above Canadian Tire Pit Stop location!
At the end of the campaign, there will be a cheque presentation to the local Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation representative.
