October 3 – 7, 2016 marks Family Week. During the week, the Peterborough Police Service runs a number of family related activities and provides educational and crime prevention materials and messaging to support local families.

October 3 – 7, 2016 Family Week Activities - Suggestions from Peterborough Police! 

October 3 – 7, 2016 marks Family Week. During the week the Peterborough Police Service runs a number of family related activities and provides educational and crime prevention materials and messaging to support local families.
2016 Family Week Events include:

  •  Electronics Free Day: On Monday October 3, 2016 we are encouraging families to go electronics free during the dinner hour. 
  • Free Family Skate: Tuesday October 4, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Evinrude Centre. Free pizza will be provided while supplies last. 
  • Cram-A-Cruiser: Thursday October 6 and Friday October 7, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sobey’s locations on Lansdowne Street and Towerhill Road and at the Foodland on Hunter Street in East City and the Foodland on Sherbrooke Street. Cram-A-Cruiser is at the Lakefield Foodland only on Friday October 7, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. During Cram-A-Cruiser the Peterborough Police Service will be collecting donations in an effort to “Cram-A-Cruiser” with non-perishable food items and to support the Kawartha Food Share and the Lakefield Food Bank. Food donations will go to support local families in need.
